Liberalism, all -isms, seem to excite the same neural pathways as religious belief, so I think wokeism is going to be with us for a long time.

Britain just seems incredible at this point. And how about Kemi's remarkable career?! She's a diplomat, an accountant, a civil rights activist!

Amazing all the talent that swims at the top of democratic government. You can literally slot them into anything!

Anyway, Britain has a stagnant economy, no religion, an elite even more foppish and effete than America's, which I didn't think possible.

All I know of Ms Badenoch is what I read around the edges of British politics. Without looking at her, her words and policy proposals are staunchly conservative, even revanchist, which is a big improvement on the squishy Tories following on Boris Johnson. Maybe her bold talk is all blather, or maybe the British Deep State will deflect her as it did here with the first Trump government. But at least she says the words, so there is some hope. Better the best heart surgeon available who is black than the white surgeon in the bottom half of his class.

What is lost in all the chatter about Trump maybe pulling this thing out is that this is the last hurrah for heritage Americans. By the next presidential election the electorate might be majority non-White and with Cruz struggling in Texas thanks to demographic changes it is possible we are heading for open one party rule. Without Texas and with states like NC and GA slowly slipping away, what is the path for victory for a Republican?

Exactly, we're all about to be "californicated". Even if DJT wins, and I find it highly unlikely, what makes anyone think the next four will be any different than first four? Even if team red takes the senate & holds the house, he will be stymied at every move. The speaker has no balls & China Mitch is beholden to, well, the CCP.... Anyone really believe the courts will allow him to expel even one of the 10M invaders? Think the "blob" will give him his appointments? Sure...

go read the latest from Elizabeth Nickson @ "Welcome to Absurdistan" or "Clusterfuck Nation" by Kunstler. Sobering realism. Team red has been outspent 3-1. As I've noted on other "stacks", the screamin, baby killin Karens are voting en mass in the five or six critical counties. Enough votes there and nuthin else matters. Trump goes to prison as does Musk (bye, bye Spacex) and, regardless what you think of him, Tucker. The rest of us can look forward to our coming IRS interviews with their new, energetic 87,000 agents. Killing pet squirrels & raccoons are the least of our worries.

Cruz is an insincere dork. That’s his biggest issue.
