When you said anti-hinduite the ridiculousness of the idea was so much it triggered a memory of an old south park episode where everyone hated dentists and they were anti-dentites
My dad grew up in the south and then moved north. He said the difference in white attitudes toward blacks was this: southern whites thought blacks could come close but should not go high, whereas northern whites thought blacks could go high but not come close. A northern white would be fine with a black president but would not want a black neighbor. A white southerner would be fine with a black housemaid or nanny but would not want to see a black president.
That reminds me of something one of my high school history teachers said. He said that northerners despise black people but they love the black race and conversely, southerners all have black folks in their life that they interact with all the time end genuinely enjoy having around but despite the black race, probably because of everything that's been done to the south in the name of helping the black race.
I gotta gently correct you on Lincoln's supposed attitudes and plans for the two legged farm equipment. Lincoln was an early practitioner of what we would consider modern politics and political behavior we find all too familiar- you lie, constantly, and with shameless abandon to accomplish your agenda. Lincoln, when he needed to get support from 19th century Normies outside his base of fanatical lunatic abolitionists, would say how he might consider repatriating freedmen to the Motherland, when he needed Northern War Democrat support or to hold Kentucky, Maryland and Missouri, or appease scumbag Yankee collaborators like Tennessean Andrew Johnson. Lincoln himself made this clear publicly by leaving the Whig Party when it imploded over slavery and joining the Republican Party, made of the former Free Soil Party. His entire political career is made by adeptly masking his radicalism through the folksy Honest Abe persona, much like Bill Clinton's cornpone act. He had no intention of cutting his own political throat by repudiating the lunatic Yankees who formed the bedrock of his party on the issue of the Sacred Negro and he proved it time and again by concrete action, not hollow words. He for once, meant every damn word he spoke in 1857-
"...I believe this government cannot endure permanently half slave and half free.
I do not expect the Union to be dissolved – I do not expect the house to fall – but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other..."
