It seems to me that a lot of tinder has been accumulating in Europe. I have been expecting something to kick things off but so far it seems that Ireland, the UK, Germany, and France have built up strong enough deep states of their own to keep it mostly suppressed up until now.

Perhaps an economic crisis is not too far off that will push things over the edge, although it's hard from the US to know how prepared the Euro right is for this.

Erdogan has created a lot of problems for himself...Already having 3-5 million Syrian refugees, he faces the prospect of many more...Europe is starting to halt 3d world immigration, so there's no convenient place to dump them...Syria is likely to turn into Libya...Meanwhile, Assad is resuming his actual profession of Opthalmology...and has no worries...
