Over on Twitter, now stupidly called X, there are posts about the remake of Gladiator floating about with the usual criticisms. Like all remakes now, the point of making a new Gladiator film is to ruin the old film. They will do the usual race swapping and replace the noble virtues at the heart of the first film with the usual dreck. Modern cinema is nothing more than cultural vandalism.
