Travelogue: The Journey Home
Louisville is a good example of how natural culture is replaced by a synthetic and commercial culture in America. The "downtown" area is as fake as a three-dollar bill, created to maximize profits for the developers. It is one of those "walkable" areas full of trendy looking shops and restaurants owned by TV chefs. Of course, all of it is operated by faceless corporations located somewhere else.
