When you travel in places we used to call the third world, you quickly figure out that nothing will work as intended. It is not that it does not work, just that it will never work like you expect in a modern country. By a bus ticket to a place and you might learn that the bus drives through the place, but it does not stop at the place. The error you made was asking, "Does this bus go to X?"
