Anyone who has done a decent bit of travel can tell an experienced traveler from someone who is new to the game. The experienced traveler has acquired the little tricks to make the experience as smooth as possible. The novice often collides with the obvious things like airport security. They are out of their element, which makes them nervous and nervous people make simple errors.
At the airport, I watched an older couple grill a TSA agent about the various things you must remove in order to go through security. I have seen this a million times and I always wonder how it is possible that people do not know the drill. There is a big sign that explain it all in great detail. They were clearly uncomfortable, not having travelled much, so their brains shut off when they hit security...
