One of the underdiscussed things happening in the world is the great handoff from the baby boomer generation to the millennials. The long-anticipated baby boomer retirement is in full bloom, with the first wave mostly out the door and the second wave boomers planning their escape. The people taking over are not the Gen-Xer's but the millennials, mostly due to numbers. There are not enough Gen-Xer's to fill the spots, and many were squeezed out long ago anyway.
