The State Of The Union

President Trump gave what used to be called the State of the Union, but for some reason is not called that this time. While the words "state of the union" exist in the Constitution, this annual speech has always been an address to Congress that may or may not fulfill the requirement that the President “from time to time” give Congress “Information of the State of the Union.”
