The Paradox Of Tolerance
According to civic nationalism, politics should be a debate about the priorities of society and how best to accomplish those things. If the majority agree that health care is a priority, then the politics of it should be how best to deliver the most amount of health care to the greatest number of people. Anything more than that is partisanship, which undermines the political process.
