The Homer Simpson Rule

My first of real furniture was a living room set I bought with a girl who moved in with me without me noticing that she had slowly moved in with me. One day I noticed that she never went home and I learned that she no longer had her old place. Somehow this led to a conversation about furniture and me writing a check for a living room set to be delivered to our new place, which I apparently agreed to as well.
