The 1940 film The Grapes of Wrath is one of those films that most people probably watched when they were in high school as part of reading the novel by the same name on which the film is based. When the film was released, it was considered a masterpiece and has been on such lists ever since. Even though the film differs from the novel, it is a good addition to the novel.
