It is common in the modern age for people to complain about the endless agit-prop that we see in films and television shows. It has become trite to note that the hero is always a strong diverse female or that the smart character must be black and the stupid or evil character must always be white. All of us have grown used to the "message" permeating all aspects of the entertainment sphere.
