The Conspiracy Stage

After the 9/11 attacks, there was the usual conspiracy stuff about how the government either knew about the plot and chose to do nothing or it was an orchestrated false flag to justify the crusades against Islam. Of course, the usual suspects got in on the act with the dancing Israelis business. At the time, it all sounded like an effort to discredit skepticism about the official narrative by associating it with kooks.
