The phrase “demographics is destiny” used to be popular on this side of the great divide, but the truth of it is so obvious to us that there is no need to utter it. The future will be made by the people who make it to the future. Here and there on the other side of the divide the phrase turns up, but mostly in the mouths of people responsible for the demographic winter facing the West.
