One of the lessons from the first full winter in the Fortress of Solitude is that having a four-wheel drive vehicle is a necessity. To get to my place means going up two narrow, winding roads that are a bit dodgy in good weather. In the snow I was not going anywhere because I would never make it back, even if I managed to not drive off one of the cliffs on the way down the mountain.
