The death of O.J. Simpson produced the predictable commentary from the so-called right, mostly the kind of stuff everyone reading this now feels ashamed of having once thought was funny or clever. I confess to thinking that O. J. was guilty and should have been strung up at the closest tree. I still think he did it, but I no longer get worked up over outlandish court rulings.
