One of the strange things about the technological revolution is that some things have gotten worse, despite technology that should make them better. Films and television shows are a great example. The quality of the product is at a nadir. The main reason is the quality of the writing is so low. It is as if the people hired to write scripts have forgotten the basics of storytelling.
