One of the strange and amusing things to come from my back and forth with Michael Anton last year was his insinuation that my way of thinking about politics would lead to my banishment. I forget exactly how he phrased it, and I am too lazy to wade through his acres of text to find it, but it was something along the lines of my arguments were dangerous because the people with power will never tolerate them.
