Going Ape: Day Three

Generally considered the best of the original Planet of the Apes sequels, the third film in the series, Escape from the Planet of the Apes, turns the premise of the original film on its head and has the future apes go back in time to 1970's earth. Instead of the human protagonist coming to terms with the future, the protagonists in this film are the apes who must come to terms with the past when humans ruled earth.
