Bad movies can be as good as good movies in that there are bad movies that are hilarious in their badness. The move Prometheus is a good example. The film is full of plot holes and absurdities that make it fun to watch and re-watch. This Critical Drinker review is still funny. On the other hand, there are bad movies that are not so bad if you can look past their limitations.
