Events often reveal things that should have been obvious, but the mass media either distracts us from them or buries them in agit-prop. The assassination of the United Healthcare CEO is a great example of this. The general response online has been indifference to the victim and admiration for the shooter. In fact, a large percentage of the public seems to think the victim had it coming.
