Imagine you are a big time Hollywood movie producer, and you are handed a script about a group of people having lunch. None of the people are particularly interesting or do anything exciting. They work at a famous company and all of the action is around them signing a famous person as a client a long time ago. That famous person is named, but never makes an appearance in the film.
